Last year I wrote about how vexatious litigant and unrepentant domestic terrorist Brett Kimberlin filed a blatantly frivolous RICO suit in federal court in Maryland seeking to silence and retaliate against those who had criticized him. Now the American Spectator, a conservative magazine, has ignominiously surrendered to him. Many were suspicious the Spectator had reached […]

Yesterday's victory — in which vile domestic terrorist and serial litigant Brett Kimberlin lost his bogus defamation claim against a group of bloggers — was sweet. But it's not enough.
Last year I talked about how the notorious and thoroughly evil Brett Kimberlin had sued several bloggers in Maryland state court for being mean to him. This is not to be confused with the ludicrous racketeering case that Kimberlin filed in Maryland federal court against a laundry list of detractors. Today Kimberlin lost his state […]
Last month I put up the Popehat Signal to ask for help when unrepentant domestic terrorist Brett Kimberlin sued five bloggers in an effort to silence their writing about him. I have three important updates.
When people argue for robust "report spam" and "report abuse" tools on social media, I always have a reservation: those tools are inevitably abused by unprincipled people who want to silence speech they don't like. Twitter is no different. The report function on Twitter is routinely abused in an effort to attack political opponents. In […]

On June 25th Walker won a temporary stay of that order. Today, with the help of his very capable counsel Reginald Bours, Aaron Walker succeeded in overturning […]
Note: our prior coverage regarding Team Kimberlin's censorious activities is here. In our last episode of the struggle against Team Kimberlin — and for free expression without legal harassment — blogger Aaron Walker was muzzled by a Maryland judge who told him to "forget" applicable United States Supreme Court precedent, and had been arrested based […]
A couple of weeks ago, a federal court representative reached out to an American citizen. She told that citizen that he could go to jail if he continued to blog about convicted perjurer and bomber Brett Kimberlin. Given how the federal criminal justice system works, she was right.
It's time for a Brett Kimberlin lawfare update. I've added a Brett Kimberlin tag for easy browsing of past related posts. Some of the most significant ones here at Popehat are these: my Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day post about what I found in federal court decisions about Kimberlin, my post about Aaron Walker's arrest […]
Last week I wrote about how blogger Aaron Walker was arrested at a hearing on one of Brett Kimberlin's "peace orders" in Maryland. Since then, there have been significant developments to the matter: 1. What happened to Aaron Walker: The day of the arrest, it wasn't clear why Aaron had been arrested — there was […]
