Although the penguin-searchers have not, to date, left any messages disagreeing with my thoughts on Empoleon.

It's alive!

Meta

Popehat's been down for a long time, I know. Real life intruded. Now I'm hopeful that I can build this new site up and post relatively regularly. I hope that people will contribute.

Enjoy the new digs, which are fairly feature-rich. Don't be shocked if the look and feel change around — I'm still seeing what this engine can do. Look for an attached forum in the next few weeks. As I get things up and running, I'll probably be putting up some reruns. Forgive me.

Edit: LOTS of reruns.

Edit: And obviously we are still working out who will or won't be site authors. Also, working on making the posts display the author at the top.

Things I want to do soon

Meta
  1. Find the right links plugin so that I can divide links into categories
  2. Make a favicon for the site
  3. Find a way to display link favicons
  4. Add all my links
  5. Import a lot of old blog posts

Update:

As you can see, I have a plugin that will eventually allow division into categories. I've also cut-and-paste imported lots of old posts. It's coming along.
