I'm not sure what I think about the disruptions happening all along the Olympic torch route. In Paris today, the torch was extinguished several times, and put in a bus for most of the route. In San Francisco, they are bracing for massive police overtime ($600,000 is the latest estimate!) and potentially canceling the ceremony at the end (which has already been scaled back from an hour to 20 minutes, at the Chinese ambassador's request.)
