This is a Ken feature ordinarily, but since I just figured out how to do this, I thought I'd give it a try.
Over the past month or so, these are some of the searches that brought people to this site.
- "pirate resignation letter" (166 visits, the champeen)
- "obamican" (though only one of us is, strictly speaking, an Obamican)
- "kandiss crone" and variants thereof (so common, and yet so out left field for me that I had to google to figure out what it meant)
- "huckabee freemason" (a top ten search for the third time in a row)
- "lisa schiffren" (ecch)
- "carmen pacheco and hillary" "carmen pacheco – lawyer" and like searches (I wonder about this one)
- "helherron" and many like it
- "hot lobbyist" (hopefully she's wearing a miniskirt with her blazer)
- "barbara eden" (who would play a hot lobbyist if she played one, I'm sure)
- "things white people enjoy" (like hot lobbyists and Barbara Eden)
- "if jesse jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race" (which race?)
- "israeli action committee berkeley" and many other variants of "israeli action committee"
- "negro revolt buckley" (we have it on authority that negroes did revolt Buckley)
- "'ox penis' -forum -youtube -forums -blogs -india -blog -china -pakist" (ahem!)
- "barack illegal immigrants" "barack obama alger myth" "barack obama relationships built on self interest" "barack obama bootstraps" and many like them
- "baroc obama"
- "baroque potion" (no, it's "baroque obama")
- "muhammad pbuh images" and many like it (pbuh)
- And seven variants on "people who stood up for [or against] what was right".
Not a single penguin in the bunch this time.

We've all heard the phrase recently in relation to the Obama campaign. We've all probably seen the articles that describe Obama Comedown Syndrome. Well, I find myself waking up on March 5, 2008 and I'll be honest. I'm damn well feeling some buyer's remorse. Read on.

This afternoon I am reminded of what I hate about the New York Times, as though it's September 11, 2001 all over again. For those who don't recall, by coincidence the Times chose that day to run a fawning profile of Weathermen bombers Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. I recall writing a rather angry letter to Howell Raines which was rejected for publication, probably because it didn't conform with the Times stylebook.
And via JustOneMinute comes news that at the beginning of his political career Obama paid pilgrimage to Ayers and Dohrn, for their money, their introductions, and most importantly their blessings. Now Obama's campaign refuses to discuss the matter and any connections the Senator may have to Ayers and Dohrn, though of course the Senator condemns bombing of policemen at any time. And he wants us to know that he was only eight years old when the bombings occurred.
So of course we can't blame him for sucking up to the bombers at the age of thirty-four.
I didn't buy into the fracas over Obama's church. There are all sorts of reasons to attend a church, from denominational choice to relationships with congregants and so forth. So I can sort of forgive the preacher, as a Christian (were I a Christian) should do. But I don't recall anything about forgiveness in the Weathermen philosophy. So I'd like to see an explanation for this before I forgive it.

Via Ann Althouse, here's a peek at the inner workings of the Clinton campaign's crack youth outreach team.
I'm ashamed to admit that this man, who's 20 years older than I am, probably doesn't have time to play online games, and is doubtless held back by his background as a banker and campaign staffer, has mastered the art of 1337speek to an extent I'll never manage.
