Is "Aqua Boogie" the funniest song ever recorded?  Decide for yourself:

One thing is for sure. Listening to Parliament's "The Motor Booty Affair", the album from which this song is drawn, is like eating two bowls of Count Chocula and four bowls of Frankenberry on Saturday morning, just before a two hour marathon of Roadrunner cartoons.

And there I was, hoping to provoke debate. OK, I'll try again: Finnegan's Wake and A Boy named Sue have actual punchlines, Salute to a Switchblade has bilingual jokes that are funny even if you don't understand German, and King Tut has a good beat you can dance to.

    So, no.

I'm having a hard time deciding which is the supreme album of all time, Motor Booty Affair or Chocolate City. I know most folks are scared of the racial/political tones of the opening track of the latter, but, that is besides the point. The point being Bootsy.
