The case of Sean Hopwood, perhaps the most successful jailhouse lawyer in history, begs to differ with Fitzgerald. Hopwood’s “legal career” has been more significant than mine, and most likely yours.
While for all that I wouldn’t hire Hopwood as a paralegal in a position that involved other peoples’ money, it’s a beautiful story.
