It's 12:01 AM. Do You Know Who Just Pulled Over Your Teenager?

Irksome

If you live in Wake County North Carolina, it could be State Highway Patrol Trooper Charles Jones.

This is how Trooper Jones treats his dog:

Of course that isn't actually his dog.  It's Ricoh, Trooper Jones' former partner on the patrol's disbanded K-9 unit.  Trooper Jones has testified that he hung Ricoh, then kicked him repeatedly, because Ricoh wouldn't let go of a chew toy.

In Trooper Jones' line of work, to which he's just been ordered reinstated with back pay, he probably encounters people who won't let go of things, like constitutional rights.

God only knows what Trooper Jones would do to a total stranger on the side of the road, late at night.  After all, Trooper Jones testified that he loved this dog.

Hat tip: Injustice Everywhere.

    Oh my god.

You know… I am NOT an animal rights guy. I almost wouldn't even have condemned him if he just shot the thing out of frustration. (I wouldn't condone it either, but I'm just saying… ) But what a sick fuck. Sick sick fuck.

Do we know of any incidents where Jones is even accused of having mistreated a fellow human being? Or is this post mere speculation?

I've seen plenty of cases where cops stand accused of serious abuse and ought to have to answer those charges in front of a judge. But this is not one of them.

I would just like everyone to know this is my brother, and since everything you read or see you believe, wake up! These police dogs are train to be vicious and they are not house pets. If these dogs do not obey the officer, they put the public in danager. Yes, I am sure my brother loved his dog and misses him. Why, cause he loved my poodle JJ and cried when the dog died; in fact, he buried the dog. I rescued a Pitt Bull (3yrs ago) Maggie was found beside the road, thin, beat, and with wounds to her legs and ears. She now lives in a loving home with me and 3 cats. I was kind and loving to her and she is now rehabilitate to a gentle dog which loves people and dairy queen ice cream. I think the public should be aware of how much danager officers face each day; rather than the tactics they have to use to keep themselves and the public safe. If you think these police dogs are so gentle then the next time you encounter a police dog, pet him on the head and say nice doggie.

    Becky Jones Johnson,

    1. If police dogs are (one assumes trained to be) vicious, then they have no place in the public sphere.

    2. Are you actually saying that holding onto a chew toy justifies what that video shows? If so, neither you nor your brother have a place in the public sphere.

    Becky,

Please go back and re-read what you wrote. What with your lack o' paragraphs, the way your narrative derails and jumps onto another track, and your apparent ignorance of logic .. you are not doing yourself or your brother any favors.

But if I can answer what I think you were intending to say ..

    1. Rick C is right: if the police K9s are vicious, they have no place in public.

    2. If 'a' dog is vicious, and clearly beyond rehabilitation, he needs to be put down. Humanely. The pet shelters have the apparatus needed, if not a bullet to the head is the traditional method.

You've seen 'Ol' Yeller', right? Like that.

    3. Torturing a beast because it was bad indicates that the individual needs help. He's got twist in his brain. He lacks empathy. He's a nut.

    4. No one forced your brother to become a cop. No one is keeping him at his job. If he feels it's dangerous, he should get out. Nobody likes a martyr.

In reply to Rick and Brians comment, Rick next time you need a cop; for your protection (robbery, gun or knife held on ya or auto accident) call AAA, not a police officer. Its apparent you don't leave home, or perhaps you live in Neverland. Brian, you refer in your comment beast, I never said the dog was a beast, but the next time I'm in FLA. I'll bring ya a beast; how would you like an alligator? You two loosers need to WAKE-UP, and get a JOB! By the way don't ya spell your name BRYAN? I'm watching YOU!

It's been years since I've seen a felony committed. And never via the internet. How novel!

Patrick or Ken: if you could save the IP address and other information left by Ms. Johnson's visits it would be appreciated.

    It's logged Brian.

Becky: Here in Texas, I can have guns if I want, and the cops in my city haven't shown any tendencies to treat their partners like punching bags.

  12. Rick C  •  Jan 16, 2010 @12:47 am

Also, you might want to dig out a dictionary, becaue "loosers" doesn't mean what you think it does.

  13. Becky Jones Johnson  •  Jan 16, 2010 @4:10 am

Rick, Yahoo for Texas. Shot any border jumpers yet? Perhaps, you are too busy watching Oprah. Hope you are as interested in women and childerns abuse as you are in animals abuse.

Brian, Are you a English teacher? You look up the word "Goofy". Wow, its your picture. BOW-WOW. Looney Tune(cartoon teacher)

Rick and Brian – You must both live in Texas together, because you reply to these comments together. YEE-HA Broke Back Mtn.

    This is amazing!

I'm sorry Becky. While I find your antics amusing in my own sick way, I'm afraid that I've banned other readers for less offensive actions that failed to amuse me. So I feel that I must ban you.

I will say this. Based on your comments and demeanor, I have not the slightest doubt that you, and current Apex policeman / once-and-future North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Charles Jones, are closely related.

I hope that I never meet your brother on some dark road. Goodbye Becky.

As for you Brian Dunbar, Ms. Jones' IP address is 74.227.130.56.

In the event that I read of your death in the jaws of an alligator, caiman, or crocodile, I will provide your next of kin with her email address.

I think the dog handler needs retraining, if it doesn't work and he is found un-trainable, he will have to be put down, for our own good.
