I wonder just what effect this is going to have on the market for Evony? Are we going to see Evony ads featuring women with four breasts?

Although this is yet another way Civilization can take control of my life. Maybe I shouldn't be so happy…

I'd be happier with an Alpha Centauri app, though SMAC is probably a bit abstruse for Facebook. I reinstalled SMAC and Alien Crossfire this weekend and found I still love them, a lot more than Civilization. Unlike Civ, SMAC has a rather compelling story. The game reminds me of Vernor Vinge, and Kim Stanley Robinson.

It wouldn't surprise if some nerd has created a "Which Alpha Centauri Faction Leader Are You?" app on Facebook.
