I'm not quite sure why you would feel compelled to throw racism and "blimpitude" out there regarding RP supporters. The RP supporters were thinking outside the box and found an ingenious way to spread their candidates' name without falling under PAC regulations. Is that the part of the blimp that upsets those who supported other candidates?

As for the racism, that has been proven as inaccurate accusations ad nauseum. It is completely disrespectful and shows very little maturity on your part to even bother typing out the words.

The goldbuggery part is kind of funny because it reveals how little you understand or have studied sound money concepts. Perhaps when it takes a wheel barrow full of greenbacks to buy a loaf of bread, maybe you'll see that RP had it right all along. Much as the pundits and talking heads are putting RP on the microphone to comment on the floundering economy since he 100% called it 100% right - unlike that moron Biden with his, "we misread the economy."

Bruce, I first read that as "petty trannies," and was thinking it was a little harsh.

Petty tyrannies have been dominating Popehat for a while now but just recently I have noted a turn towards stories about fighting back.

Hopefully this is indicative of a more general turning of the tide. I am an optimistic man.

The past conduct defines the likely future conduct. Context and background are important to any good DJ.

Also, bear in mind that this is not a law blog. If I wrote a post on the crafting of a good declaratory judgment complaint, hell, I wouldn't read it.

That makes sense. I was focusing on your comment that he was seeking a declaration that past conduct was illegal.

Bierfeldt is asking for a declaration that he can continue to carry large amounts of cash through airport screening without being detained or arrested, solely for carrying cash, by TSA. That's pretty well-tailored for a dec action.

I've filed a number of dec actions. This seems to fit the bill to me. The complaint is very well drafted, crimlawguy.

Hmm. Can you get such dec relief without it being an advisory opinion?
