Wow. I just read the complaint. It's like Walt Disney World for the lawyer responding to it. I got wood.

I've drafted -- and won -- anti-SLAPP motions recently, and collected nice amounts of attorney fees for clients. What's another one?

but continues to maintain her libelous post knowingly and maliciously including the charge of tax fraud which she knows to be false
Maybe I'm just strange, but I generally think that ANYONE who has managed to amass tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid tax liens, they were attempting to defraud the IRS by, at best simply not paying their taxes, and at worse lying outright on their returns and cheating the system in some other way.

I would add to Grasmick's statements, and call Mr Leahy a "massive tool".

I've read it now, and it's an astonishingly bad complaint, even by the standards of pro se litigants.

Leahy complains himself straight into dismissal, by boasting that he's a public figure and admitting the genuineness of the tax liens, in this astonishing paragraph:

Grasmick is aware of Leahy’s discussions with the United States Internal Revenue Service to establish an installment agreement to satisfy the outstanding federal tax liens against him, but continues to maintain her libelous post knowingly and maliciously including the charge of tax fraud which she knows to be false. This is intentionally designed to interfere with Leahy’s rights as a citizen to execute an installment agreement with the United States Internal Revenue Service without that process being interfered with by individuals who are not party to the discussion.

Go directly to Rule 12(b)(6) or the Tennessee equivalent. Do not pass go. Do receive a judgment for the defendant's attorney's fees.
