I keep a geocities page. May be I'm a dinosaur too! Some free webhostings as tripod puts bad taste adds on your page. Geocities had a decent web hosting with small and discrete adds. May be they fail not having agressive adds selling as google does. For individuals or small bussiness is a good service, I simply buyed a domain name and redirect trafic to my free a geocities page...
