Apart from Mike Munger, who would be a star in a mainstream party, and the John Locke Foundation (a sharp think tank), the libertarians (capitalized and lowercase) with whom I've interacted are kinda anarchic. In any case, the idea of fringe libertarians uniting to threaten a bill favored by a Democratic subcommittee head, and having a better message machine, is ludicrous. I wish the HuffPo had challenged her on that claim, but journalism challenging to the likes of Rosa DeLauro is hardly what the HuffPo is about.
