Guy rises from grocery bagger to Super Bowl MVP, loses when he's expected to repeat, gets dumped, flakes out, is considered a joke, then makes it back to the Super Bowl at the end of his career. With an old team that, historically, may be the worst in league history. That's <i>Pride of the Yankees</i> level storytelling. Hell, that's <i>Sergeant York</i> storytelling. As opposed to, guy who won the Super Bowl a few years ago busts his head open riding a motorcycle, something only a fool with a death wish does regularly, in violation of his contract, then comes back and wins because he had A-level health insurance and the beautiful loser miffs one play in an otherwise perfect game. To hell with the Steelers. The only consolation is that they're better than your miserable, scumsucking, cheating Patriots, the only team I hate as much as I hate Dallas. I'll just bet you were a Cowboys fan before you were a Patriots fan. I'll bet that you love Duke basketball too. I was rooting for them for two reasons, 1) I too I like to see the christian lose, and 2) Now the Steelers are indisputably the greatest franchise of all time -- and although this SB victory for them placed that title one more SB out of reach of the Patriots, at least it put the kaibosh on the scum sucking Cowboys trying to claim it.
