It's all over the the geekier side of the internet, but that's OK.  This side of the internet is geekier than most.  I give you the worst placement of a television ad in history, courtesy of the season premiere of Battlestar Galactica.

A couple of notes: This video may contain spoilers for the show.  This video may contain violence which is graphic by broadcast television standards.  Finally, this video is the funniest thing I've seen in a month of sundays.

    The funny thing is, I don't remember that happening when I watched the episode live. I guess I was just too shocked and too busy posting "What the fuck??!!!" on an internet forum to pay attention to the ad break.

    I saw this morning, though. And it is indeed really funny.

    Okay, so I TiVo'd the 10pm Friday broadcast of the BSG finale, and the commercial I saw after Dualla's suicide was for some KFC tie-in with the final episodes of BSG.

    It has emerged that this broadcast came from the Canadian version of the show, broadcast on the Space Channel. Who'd have thought Canada has its own television networks?
