Popehat In 140 Characters Or Less

Meta

Bowing to the technological inevitable, we have activated a Twitter feed.  You may find it on the sidebar to the right, or by clicking here.

A number or bloggers we admire, such as Kip Esquire, Walter Olson, and Mark Bennett use Twitter very effectively either within or outside their blogs.  As this is a group blog, our Twitter feed will be a group feed.  This is not intended as a substitute for the Popehat weblog, but as an adjunct.  We plan to use it as a means of conveying information not appropriate to the Popehat "message" (whatever that is), or other things of interest, as well as for a bit of promotion.

If you're already on Twitter, we invite you to follow us.  Our feed is short right now, but it will grow, we're sure, into the finest feed that Twitter has to offer.  If not, at least it will give Ken another reason to justify his iPhone.

I'll be curious to see how a group twitter works, or, to put it bluntly, if it works. I'll confess it at first strikes me like my brother's email account, which is shared with his wife. It always throws communication a bit off balance when it takes a moment to register who's talking, and each of the group posters here has their own voice. But maybe.

Clay, do you know that this isn't a one man blog, with one author adopting different voices and personalities?

Perhaps the guessing game can be part of the fun.

It might just. Added to which, it was probably part of the kicking-and-screaming compromise. I'll take what I can get.

    Sweet…following.

It can get quite addicting. I use it mostly to connect with photographers and graphic designers and everyone has been really cool. I would imagine you will see your traffic increase as more people follow you and Retweet anything you may send out.
