Cracked presents its list of seven movies that are based on a true story, but that happen to be complete and utter bullshit. Because Hollywood fears the real world.

The best entries are the depressing ones. The real stories behind Sylvester Stallone's soccer epic Victory and Principal Joe Clark biopic Lean On Me are particularly sad, but unsurprising.

    This makes me hate Rudy even more than I already do.

    Also, I knew that Hurricane had, ahhh, stretched here and there. But I'd somehow either forgotten or never knew a couple of things:

    1. That the friendly white folks (with adopted black son) who took up the cause were Canadian. LOL. I'm not sure why that didn't jump out me at the time, but it seems like an attempt to say something after the fact.

    2. The four court marshals.

    3. That he lost the Giardello fight.

    4. The evil old white man child rapist Ruben beats up and thus gets started on his "wayward path" – I'm surprised the cracked article didn't bring this up. Maybe I'm not remembering right, but I thought this was fabricated for the movie.
