I don't closely read the ToS when I sign up for websites, but I'm not as uncomfortable with folks who violate an explicitly stated "don't sign up as someone else" policy. But the fact of the matter was that if she had signed up as herself, she'd still have had the same access to the information she apparently got once she created her account.
