One of the Joys of the Digital Age

Is there anything more satisfying than seeing an email in your inbox titled Recall? Seems one of our members accidentally cc:ed me on a message about me. Awkward!

Luckily, the content of the email was pretty innocuous. It was chiding me for sending out so many emails, and ended with "but he means well." It could have been much worse. And shouldn't a lawyer be a little more careful?

But seriously, has that recall thing ever worked? Honestly, I was just sort of confused by the email, and thought nothing much of it. Until I got the recall message. Then I knew exactly what had happened.

I'm already working up clever ways to use the phrase "but he means well" around this member.

I think recall only works if the unintended recipient(s) are on the same domain as the errant sender.
