Remember That Friday Afternoon In September 1999?

Humor

In all likelihood you discovered the writings of Maddox, the author of The Best Page In The Universe, ages ago. You read his ranting, you laughed, and moved on. Then, years later, you rediscovered Maddox, laughed all over again, and forgot.

Now Maddox is celebrating his tenth anniversary. Give in to your hate!

For those who’ve not discovered Maddox’s rants, imagine that the front page editors at Something Awful were actually funny, and had something worthwhile to say. Oh Maddox is every bit as cruel, rude, and profane as they are, but he’s not in this for money, or for cheap laughs making fun of handicapped people. No, Maddox is important. When I stumble across Maddox every few years, it’s as though past greats of the interwebs, like Old Man Murray and Lum The Mad, had never died.

And to celebrate his anniversary, Maddox has updated the site with literally sentences of new content since you last visited. Won’t you celebrate with him?

The “9 things I learned about the world according to anonymous
    stock photo models” is hilarious.

For an alternate Friday Time Waster, but in a similar vein, consider Acts of Gord. Imagine if Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons owned a video game store and blogged about it.
