Read Roger Ebert's non-review (actually a plea for censorship) of Night of the Living Dead, and the effect it had on a theater full of obnoxious teenagers. And laugh at the obnoxious teens of yesteryear.

But don't ever let your kids, when they're teenagers, see this movie. It's for college kids and beyond. It still packs more punch than the torture-porn movies that pass for horror today, only without the humor that makes its more popular sequel bearable. It's a total downer of a movie, the worst downer there ever was in fact, and scarier than anything Eli Roth will ever make.

I refuse to go to the movies any other way now. My children love it too (mostly for the food service) but they have yet to reach double figures in the age bracket so I am wondering if they will move with the herd when they hit their teen years where the movie seems to be just hte excuse to form a pack together.
