The funny thing is, as much as I have played the game (and I have played the heck out of it) I have never even been to Kvatch and started the plot. I've always been sidetracked by finding some cool little something (like the Cthulhu homage..) so this time I kind of want to give the game a try. Plus I got the Kvatch rebuilt mod that sounds really cool!

Ezra while Oblivion has its merits I don't know why you'd want to replay with the purpose of just seeing the story through. The sandbox aspect is the very point of the game. I've gotten through the story, and I'll just tell you it wouldn't have delivered but for the sights along the way.

Better than finding the story would be to find a better mod. The weak stories behind Morrowind and Oblivion are what makes me worry about Bethesda's acquistion of Fallout, which had among other merits a great story. On the other hand, a post-apocalyptic sandbox will be nice. It just won't be Fallout.
