I miss it too. The few months when it was truly active was some of the best internet times of my life (especially that one moment where Patrick’s Google-skillz, everyone else’s ability to relentlessly antagonize, and our newfound ability to abuse mod powers all came together). The podcast is just about the only thing still quasi active.

The quick answer as to why it died is, “we all burned out.” The longer answer requires a blog post of it’s own.

Another word about links, particularly directed to contributors. There is a thread in the hidden portion of our forum, the one where the seven diamond companion models stay, on this topic. You should visit it. The links that stand now are Ken’s and mine, and of those I’d say over 80% are Ken’s. (Ken wanted to link instapundit.) We’ll be happy to add any links requested by Popehat contributors immediately, or if you know how, you can do it yourself.

Also, this list isn’t complete. There are a few more on the way, in a category that Ken so far has proven too lazy to populate.
