That's not quite what Mom does, and we call them sausage balls. They get made at Thanksgiving and Christmas (the same is true of her Cheese Biscuits). I suspect mom does a little bit different on the spicing front. I think she uses spicey sausage.

They're delicious.

Mom also makes (only a couple of times a year) a wonderful ham & cheese croissant that's great hot or cold.
